Katia & Corey

Pebble Beach Resorts

This couple planned their Pebble Beach destination wedding from across the country in their home state of Georgia. Being so far away, they knew they weren’t going to be able to visit the Monterey Peninsula multiple times while planning their wedding and ultimately knew they needed guidance and someone to be really hands on with all the details. They wanted to have a travel themed golf course wedding that felt romantic as well as classic. Most importantly they wanted the wedding weekend to treat their guests to a really memorable Carmel and Pebble Beach experience. Since all their guests were traveling for their destination wedding they wanted to ensure they planned multiple events giving them the time to really connect with people in a meaningful way.

The couple started with a welcome party at Tehama Golf Course. They wanted to give guests a view of the gorgeous rolling hills of Carmel, since their wedding would be right on the coastline at Pebble Beach. Their welcome party was travel themed to tie into their adorable passport inspired invitations. Guests were welcomed by a big, bright floral wall with custom luggage tags for guests to take claiming “You Have Arrived”. The night included fun, travel inspired signature cocktails and a lounge inspired set up to give guests ample time to mingle. Their wedding ceremony took place at The Inn at Spanish Bay, on the Peppoli Lawn, overlooking the beautiful Spanish Bay Coastline. Their ceremony boasted a lush floral, black metal, modern arch covered in soft romantic roses and orchid florals. The black chiavari chairs and aisle were lined with beautiful florals that were repurposed for the reception, making the setting feel modern, yet romantic and inviting.

The reception was held at the Pebble Beach Beach and Tennis Club, which is near the Pebble Beach Lodge. Guests were greeted by lush floral window boxes, framing the ocean view of Stillwater Cove and an outdoor cocktail hour overlooking the ocean. The dining room at the Beach and Tennis Club was filled with neutral tables boasting soft, romantic blush and white floral arrangements complimented with a lavish array of candles and touches of soft french blue. Since the sun would set quickly off the coast of the late summer wedding, the ceiling was covered in a blanket of soft twinkle lights to give the feeling of being under the stars in the indoor wedding reception setting.

The Evening was filled with fun and dancing to the incredible band, Davis and the Love, who traveled in from Atlanta to really rock the house. The dance floor stayed full all night long and it was hard to bring the party to an end.
