T+D’s Dream wedding at Folktale Winery in Carmel Valley

Teryn and David beautiful wedding at Folktale Winery in Carmel Valley, CA was a perfect wedding day. They are proof that true love can be found online, from the moment that I met them and their sweet little puppy at Folktale Winery, I knew their wedding would be one I would always remember.

Their love story was a whirlwind. Teryn told me at our first conversation that they both immediately knew they had found their match, and really the rest was history. As they took their love from the digital world to the real world in the south Bay Area they learned how wonderful life would be together. David is originally  from Scotland and has a charming accent and wonderful disposition. Teryn grew up not far from the Monterey Bay and a hard working, down-to-earth woman that you can’t help but gravitate towards.

The couple originally wanted to head to Scotland and get married in a castle on the coast. However, a tiny bundle of joy was added to Teryn’s family as they were planning so decided to stay a little closer to home for the sake of Teryn’s amazing sister and brother-in-law.

Their wedding day was filled with elements of their lovely personalities and personal touches that were so fitting. Teryn’s Brother-In-Law was their officiant and he infused their ceremony with personality, wit and a lot of belly laughs. Her childhood friend and next door neighbor is a florist in Los Angeles and she couldn’t image anyone better to compliment the stunning grounds of Folktale Winery. They had their wedding in the beautiful rose vineyard  surrounded by roses in full bloom and grapes maturing on the vines. Teryn floated down the path to the ceremony just glowing with happiness alongside her proud father, it was truly magical. After the ceremony a Scottish bagpiper led wedding guests back to the Folktale Vineyard House where guests enjoyed the cocktail hour in the private courtyard followed by dinner on the back patio surrounded once again by the vines. There was even a hilarious toast involving a pair of crocs… not attire that I get to see often at weddings! DJ Jeffty got their dance floor rolling after a magical first dance to an enchanting version of “500 Miles”.
