A Holman Ranch Wedding

This couple was originally supposed to get married in early 2021 but with the pandemic still looming they decided to postpone to a mid week wedding in 2022.

Their venue was already mostly booked for 2022 by the time they made their decision and ultimately decided not to do the full wedding weekend getaway at Holman ranch and opted for a single day, mid week celebration instead.

After their proposal at the Eiffel tower they decided that the venue had some beautiful rustic European country flare to it and decided they wanted their wedding to feel very French rustic country. Their design focused around creating that relaxed European elegance in the heart of Carmel.

Since almost all their guests were flying into California for their destination wedding they decided to host a large rehearsal dinner followed by a cocktail hour style welcome party in Monterey.

Their wedding day at Holman ranch was a typical beautiful, Carmel Valley warm sunny summer day. It was full of warm sunshine and a light breeze. Even though they had a large wedding party of 8 on each side, they chose to have their wedding party sit with guests instead of standing with them at the ceremony.

Their beautiful ceremony was officiated by the best man’s father who watched the couple grow up and help guide them through many years of their adult lives.

Their reception in the rose patio consisted of beautiful long wooden tables with soft silk runners and beautiful classic soft blooms. A perfect mix of rustic and classic for a timeless Californian vineyard wedding. Their family style meal focused on farm to table cuisine and fresh locally grown produce from Carmel valley.

The couple really wanted a fun and lively party which is why they had a DJ/live band combo through Golden bells music. They also incorporated Pour Girl Bartending, with their vintage horse trailer bar, which fit the rustic ranch vibes of Holman ranch perfectly. Their beautiful and tasty cocktails were an added bonus to the evening. Additionally, they brought a little bit of 70s glam to the rustic space by hanging disco balls in the barn for the dancing. Their beautiful day ended with them dancing the night away!
